Falling Leaves

Great weather made this one of the most successful rides in recent years. Only 3 riders failed to start and five out of sixty rides failed to complete the route.

Winchcombe CC had six riders, Gert Abendroth come over from Germany for the ride and for Pat Boulton, a new member, this was his first Audax event. John Mackelworth, Terry Metherall, Adrian Teague and Martin Jauch also rode the event.

We are gratefull to the helpers, David Birch and his Dad, Brian Eaton, and Roy Goodbier and his wife who manned the controls and to Alison Hay and Jenny Mackelworth who did the refreshments at the finish.

We are pleased that the club was able to Donate £50 to the first Winchcombe Scout Group for the use of their splended Headquarters
