Winchcombe Country Show – Monday 31st August 2015

Dear club members,

As many of you will know the Winchcombe Show takes place on Bank Holiday Monday at Winchcombe School.

We have supported the event over the last few years by entering the procession & organising a stand & we will be doing so again this year. Paul Workman has again kindly offered to provide us with a small marquee & Brian & I are doing some work to update our club display boards.

Quite a number of our “regulars” are away this year & we need some volunteers to help man the stand on a rota basis from about noon until 4.30 ish.

The procession meets at Abbey Fields Community Centre, Back Lane at 11am. The organisers are awarding prizes for the “best blinged bike” & fancy dress (single or group) – if anyone is up for the challenge! Judging will be at 11.15am. The procession will leave at 11.30am & after travelling through Winchcombe will arrive at the school at 12 noon.

Can you please let me know if you can help with the stand or take part in the procession (or both !).
