INTO OXFORDSHIRE – SUNDAY 11th SEPTEMBER 2016

To All Roadies

Following on from last years Away-day ride to Sherston I have put together a similar ride over new ground this time in Oxfordshire.

The majority of the ride is on minor roads or quiet lanes apart from the beginning when we take on a short stretch of the Fosse Way at Stow. The typography is slightly more challenging than last years ride but nothing that you have not encounter already.

There will be a tea stop at Hill Top Garden Centre in Ramsden @ 26 miles Distance is 43 miles and there is 2746ft of climbing.

Start location: Stow on the Wold
Start time: 09:00
Parking: In the free public car park next to the Tesco store (GL54 1BX)
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE SUPERSTORE CAR PARK.

Directions: If travelling from Winchcombe on the B4077 via Stanway Hill at its junction with the A424 turn right and then left at the traffic lights onto the Fosse Way. (Superstore and Car Park signed) At the next set of lights turn right, then right at mini roundabout. At the next mini roundabout bare off right into the free car park.
