A great turn out of 12 WCC members, including 4 ladies, completed the Evesham CC Clover Leaf Randonnees on Sunday 8 August. With 4 distance options there was something for everyone.

John and Jenny Mackelworth rode the 50k event (they had to get home for a BBQ!)

7 riders completed the 100k event which was two circuits of about 50k each. Karen Keeling and John Ball romped around while the rest of us, Peter Morris, Sarah Davies, Nigel Hughes, Alison Hay and Brian Hayward rode together and finished in under 5 1/2 hours.

The 200k event a tough one that headed west over the Severn Bridge and back and included the hills of the Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds. Richard Hayward, home on holiday from New Zealand, Adrian Teague and new member Richard Kendal all completed the ride in around 10 hours. Martin, a friend of Richard H also rode and
enjoyed it so much he wants to join the club.

This included a significant delay as there was a crash in their bunch and needed an ambulance. None of our riders was involved. Richard K is a photographer and stopped to take picture en route.

The next event is  our own Falling Leaves on October 3rd and I hope we get an even better turn out including more of the Mountain Bike group.
