Congratulations to Tom “Magic” Marquand

Congratulations to Tom Marquand, son of club member Richard & Shelley.

On Saturday October 17th in an mega exciting , nail biting and nerve racking finale , Tom won the 2015 Stobart Apprentice Jockey’s Championship!

It’s a really tremendous achievement – we believe at just 17 he’s the youngest ever to win and also to win in the first year.

“His amazing horsemanship , skill and professionalism is definately God given and we cannot disguise how utterly proud we are of and what he’s achieved, albeit with some help from his Mum & Dad (especially Shelley) and his tremendous extended family, friends and supporters! Many thanks to you all” – said dad Richard.
