Here are some of the events in the next few months that you may be interested in:

Sunday 19th May
British Heart Foundation Ride, 40 miles starting from the Cheltenham Race Course at 9.00am.  This is the only sponsored ride that the Club supports (in memory of our founder Pat Smith) and the Club will match whatever amount you collect in sponsorship. Entries are now on line at bhf.org.uk/cotswoldbikeride or by phone to 08945 1308663. On line entry costs £10 for adults and £5 for children up to 14. The entry fee only covers the cost of administration so please collect as much sponsorship as you can. Entry on the day will cost £20. Please ensure that you put the Winchcombe Cycling Club as the club entry with Brian Hayward as team leader.

Sunday 26th May
There are three Audax events starting from Apperley Village Hall with distances of 200, 150 and 100km.    You can enter on line at http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail. Several members rode last year.
The rides all take you west towards the Wye Valley and in the case of the 200k ride, over the Gospel Pass.

Sunday June 8th
The Pedersen 100 (km) starts from Rodborough near Stroud and boasts of 2150 meters of climbing, so a challenge for you mountain goats. The organisers tell us it was inspired by the HONC but it is all on road, albeit on quiet county lanes.
