Cycling Down Under

The racing season is now at an end in New Zealand as winter draws on.

Richard Hayward has been active this year and among other results secured a third place in his age group and fifth place overall in the New Zealand Masters Championship at Whanganue. The event run over three days included a time trial, criterium and two road stages.

2nd Ararimu RR (C grade)
3rd Mauku Mountain Classic (C grade)
3rd KOM Tour of the Bay (C grade)
3rd NZ Masters Tour (Masters 3) 5th overall
3rd DoC Hilly TT (Open)
3rd Ramarama RR(C grade)

Richard will he home for the month of July and is hoping to get some riding in.
