Winchcombe country show

WCC had a great turnout for the show on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Club had about 30 riders in the parade, all in the new Club tops riding a variety of cycles including a penny farthing, tandem, road, mountain and time trial bikes and a peddle car.

At the show we had our event tent with updated display panels covering Breeze and Ladies section activities. The tent was manned by the Ladies section and we signed up 10 new members and have a stack of enquiries from potential members to follow up. Jenny appeared live on Radio Winchcombe.

WCC fielded a team in It’s a Knockout which held the lead at one point but slipped back towards the end. Good fun for everyone.

The Fair was very well attended with about 3000 visitors. nobody in the town can say they haven’t heard of Winchcombe Cycling Club any-more.
